- This is a great talking point if you want to show off your mathematical knowledge. It is rather , though, so not really suitable as an everyday watch for men unless they are thin wristed!

Seiko SNAF24P1 wrist watches news:
Seiko once again teases the world with another Japan-only, high-end watch that they released over the summer (June) in Japan as a very small limited edition. This is a pretty lovely model and is a rare glimpse into Seiko corporate culture as well as humor. It is also very "Japanese" with elements that have double meanings and with the beach theme that is meant to honor the shores of Shonan, which is located in central Japan along the coast. Called the "SH Special Model" (ref. SCQE001), this timepiece is really celebrating several things about the brand at once. We think you'll like it."SH" stands for Shinji Hattori, who is the current president of Seiko in Japan. He has been there since 2010 and I wrote about it here. Among other things (like watches) Shinji is very fond of Shonan and its beach shores south of Tokyo. Perhaps a favorite leisure spot of his, the area is also known to have good waves for surfing. There are many references to the beach and sea in the watch, done in a way w

Ok, here's the question, and related EXCLUSIVELY ON QUARTZ, WHY are the Swiss Made movements better than the Japanese Made Seiko or Citizen???Is this a real thing? or are we just mentalized as beign made in Switzerland makes it better?I have several Swiss Made quartz, from Omega, passing by Tag, ending in Invicta, and they work fine, but are not more accurate as the Seikos or Citizens, and some are so cheapos that I doubt they are better than a SeikoAs example, have two very nice Tissots (PRS516 Retrograde, and PRS200) nice from the outside, but with a cheap G15 movement in two different versionthe movement itself costs $35 to $50 online, and they don't have nothing special in the one that are inside the Tissot, exactly the same plain movement that can be bought onlineand as some know I hate these sealed unserviceable movementsof course that for the cost, it's easier to replace the whole movement...BTW, I had a defective mevement in the PRS516, and Tissot charged $140 for the replaceme
I own the 2254 in the picture. I'm thinking of partnering it with the blue ceramic. What do you guys think? I personally think they are a nice pairing, different bracelet and colour being the main attraction for me. 👍
This is my first new watch in over 2 years and man am I happy. I had been having a hard time making a decision between the Skyfall AT and the DJII. With the excellent guidance from mattcantwin, I decided upon the Skyfall AT 41.5 mm. The blue dial is amazing as it changes from one shade to another, depending on the lighting. Here are a couple of pics:And here is a pic with the family. I think it fits in well. Thanks for looking.
