- This watch is the perfect file and mm size, so it doesn't look like a man's diving watch. I got it at a great sale price, so it just doesn't get better than that! Too bad the 35mm dial is no longer available in this style (new ones are 40mm). Perfect for the summer!

This watch isn't realyet. But it likely will be. VicenTerra has an interesting offer for the first 100 people who put down money for one of these interesting GMT-3 watches. If they pre-order, it will cost them only 5,000 Swiss Francs as opposed to the anticipated retail price of 15,000 Swiss Francs. The catch of course is that 100 people need to ante up, and when it comes to watches, we never know just how long it will take for something to reach production - though it usually does.VicenTerra doesn't even have a website yet (that I could find), though they do have a Facebook page here (where you can get more details, etc...).If you are really sold on the brandthey will even sell you stock in the company...So what is this all about? A trip to New York and buying a new watch.
We just got back. Once a year we go to NYC for a visit to eat as much food as possible. We always stay in a different part of Manhattan and do a lot of exploring. This year we sat in on a Letterman show and ended up on TV. I do not recommend this. It is tiring and I think Dave is more than a little odd. Outside of that, we had a great time.I am going to try to tell our basic story by a link to my photobucket page. Here you can click on my thumbs and get a little explanation. We saw comedy at the Gotham Comedy Club where I cried my eyes out laughing. Like always, we saw much and basically ate high on the hog.For those interested, here is a quick list of the places we ate. My son is a cook, and we like to watch Anthony Bourdain to get ideas on places to eat. Air King - Glad this made it to my collection
While I have heard of this Rolex model before, I have always thought it to be the earlier versions 34mm. And so when I was offered one, I decided to pass on. But the curiosity side of me said that I should check this watch, and there only did I realize that it was a different Air King version after all that escaped my notice because of probably the Daytona mania of Baselworld 2016.Fast forward today, I¡¯m glad to be able to finally land this piece. To be honest, I just can¡¯t resist the quirkiness of this watch. Yellow, Green, White, Black ¡ª seldom do you see this mix of color on a Rolex. More so, the busy dial with lots of numerals in different fonts - applied and printed, white gold and just plain white, luminosity and non-luminosity, a Milgauss-like case and anti-magnetic properties with the Explorer 1 indices at 3-6-9 and Mercedes hands, with a combo of Milgauss/Explorer 1 bracelet... indeed lots of things going on with this watch. No wonder this watch can attract strong reaction
