- Love this watch. Like the red band. Would have purchased the larger watch instead if it had a red band. Like everything about how it looks and is easy to read.

Omega Omega 43941 wrist watches news:
Hi everybody! As per the title, just bought this Seamaster and it`s on the way. I posted on WUS and Omega forums and hope I`ll have some feed-back here. The previous owner couldn`t tell me a lot about it, just that he bought it in `83 preowned and from then it just lay in his safe, it`s condition looking alike. Nothing about caliber or serial number, he didn`t have or want to have the case open but he said that he has hints that inside is a 562 and that is gold plated. So I just took a blind chance and bid&won it....Now, oppinions. please, regarding my 260 pounds purchase. Thx, LucianP.S.$T2eC16Z,!y4FIbGDFyLKBSRB5MsPrg~~60_12.jpg$(KGrHqZHJ!4FI16E(vH!BSRB5S0zhQ~~60_12.jpg$T2eC16VHJGgFFmrW-Oi1BSRB5d5RUg~~60_12.jpgAnd the Omega band & buckle:$T2eC16J,!yQFIjU6eSghBSbTp,fiB!~~60_12.jpg$(KGrHqZ,!lQFJhitBN4RBSbTplNpIg~~60_12.jpg
I pulled out my small collection of vintage watches a couple of weeks ago and realized that I have a bug to learn more about these and add more to my collection. The first is my Grandfather's old Elgin Gold Pocket watch. He worked for Railway Express and wore it in his vest pocket . I remember him winding it everyday at dinnerphoto16.jpgThis is my Dad's watchIt was a gift from my Mom when he returned from WWII in 1946. It is a Rensie(Anyone know anything about this)photo.jpgthis is a 1959? Bulova (L9) that was given to me as a high school graduation gift in 1958photo2.jpgThis I purchased in 1968-69 in Taipai on R&R from Thailand during the Vietnam war. It is a Seiko Navigator Timer, and many of the aircrews wore these.photo12.jpgThis is a Bulova Accutron Quartz that I got in 1977it as manuf in '76 (N6) and is not a tuning fork movement.photo13.jpgThey all work and keep relatively good time. The worst is the Seiko Navigator which loses about a minute a day.
With swimming season fast approaching, I was wondering how many of you swim with your non-diver watches. Most watches are rated to at least 30m, so according to the mfg, they are safe to swim with. Would you ever swim with your chrono? Your pilot watch?Personally, I wouldn't swim with any watch except my diver. How about you?
Guys,I have owned this watch for two years and it is just not comfortable to wear. I am on the second hole on the rubber strap which would indicate it is big on me. Before I sell it and move on to something else does anyone have any suggestions like a smaller strap etc?Thank you,
Placed the order today, for the 5712 SS, should be here when I come back to Paris end of September, very excited Of course this means that I will need to flip a few pieces to keep a normal financial level, but I can sell them after getting the PP, so no hurry there.Decided I prefer to have few watches than many, especially some haven't gotten any wrist time for a few months. Will be selling 2 Panerai, 233 and 28, possibly also my 82 shadow case, very rare watch, as well as my Blancpain, they should arrive next week, which should leave me with my PP, Rolex Daytona 116515, sub C LN and BLNR.Am even thinking of selling my Daytona rose gold, I know it's a beautiful piece, but I rarely have the occasion to put it, Paris or Odessa are not the best places to be going around with a gold watch, in 1 year we are going to live in Thailand, even though the criminality is very low there they are very good at steeling gold chains or watches¡If I sell the Daytona would probably buy an Aquanaut SS rubb
