Need help with Dating this Chrono.
Hi all.... Actually I want help,dating this watch,not identifying it. I am looking for some input to the possible age of this chrono... It was stated to be a 7750... I'll know for sure Friday,after a trip to the watchmaker.... I will describe a bit... the photos are the best I could get. I'm having to use my web cam.... It has the following... I think this may be a US made Hamilton,or wherever,it's not "Swiss Made". It is a 39mm case. It has a white dial,and at six O'clock it simply says " T Swiss T".. A notehis watch has no applied lume at all,anywhere. So there goes the idea of the (T) meaning Tritium. On the back there is no mention of Swiss... On the back it says,Hamilton (with the crown in the center),and then, Water resistant, Stainless Steel,and a stamped 4 digit number 9940. Back to the dial front side. The Regular hands are in a Gold Finish,all three. The Chrono hands,are Blued.... Note he sweep sec hand is blued,but the tip is in Gold. The Eyes have a

As you see, this is my second post here. I followed a friend and decided to try and find a good topic to kick it off. It started with the nice review on the front page of the Lum-Tec TungstenWhat is tungsten? According to WikiPedia it is one of the toughest materials and often used in superalloysAhaaaaaSo, good thing to chew on. We've seen and know of 316L, 904L, titanium, all shades of gold and platinum, but what about the special creations with exotic characteristics? Let's kick it off - LumTec use Tungsten Carbide. The material is approximately three times stiffer than steel and is much denser than steel or titanium. (copy+paste from Wikipedia). Almost impossible to scratch (unlike titanium, which scratches easy). Who else uses super alloys? What's special about them? Wanna play?

Idenified my grail, would like some advice...
I want a 5146G....looks like a preloved one will run about 30K - 35K. I have about 10-15k of watches to be traded in...My question is what are the pros and cons of buying now vs waiting a few years to acquire one as far as pricing and availability.If i did acquire now it would likely be a safe queen for a few years before i established myself in my career enough to feel comfortable wearing it on a semiregular basis. (Whether or not this makes sense is a conversation for another thread).Is this a model that may become tough to aquire in the future or appreciate in value to the point where it would make more sense to buy it now? (Im NOT asking if its a good investment).thanks

Why hasn't the 116600 SD4K price skyrocketed?
After scrolling through the Modified Rolex thread and seeing everybody post pictures of their Rolex without a Cyclops as well as the current SS boom we've had I'm curious...Why hasn't the SD4K's value rose much? From my knowledge it appears to be a short production run for the world of Rolex ('14-'17)?Would love to hear opinions as to why you believe the value hasn't gone crazy the past few months, and do you think it will ever?Happy Friday!
