Seiko Superior SSA059 Review
It's hard to argue with a good Seiko. Affordable, well built and generally cool looking; they sort of define value in mechanical watches. Typically, we've reviewed watches from the Seiko 5 series, which range from absurdly affordable to incredibly affordable. Today, we're going to take a look at a Seiko Superior, which is a couple of rungs higher on the Seiko product ladder. Coming in at $250, still quite low in the scheme of things, the Seiko Superior SSA059 is packed with features, looks wild and is a limited edition of 2500.The SSA059 caught our attention for a few reasons; one was the intense look of the watch. With a black case and dial accented with acid green markings, interesting layering, texturing, compass functionality and a rugged nylon bund strap, this is a robust watch with a very aggressive attitude. Incoming- My new new Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT
Got my Fathers Day gift today and I am super excited about it. Since I started collecting a little over a year ago I’ve lusted after many of the Hamiltons you all have shown here daily on the wrist checks so after looking at all of their offerings in the $500 range I went with this one…the Khaki Navy GMT(H77635333). Below are the specs. I really love the look of this one…the red and the black especially. This is actually the most expensive watch in my collection and my first ETA as well and I really do notice the difference with the step up in quality. This thing is built really well and the fit and finish is excellent. Lots of nice details as well…the H on the crown and pushers…even the strap has Hamilton on it in a few places and it feels very high quality and looks very racy with the red stitching. On my wrist it feels like it was MEANT to be there…great fit and feel and it just looks awesome, sporty and classy all at the same time. ItR

Paid full retail at my AD for my BLNR...is this common?
Picked up a BLNR last week from an AD. Paid full retail plus tax. This watch was not in stock anywhere around me for the last few months at least. My AD knew i wanted one and called me when it came in. I was so happy that one became available that i didnt even ask for a better price. A guy i know was giving me a hard time tonight saying i should always expect 15-20% off MSRP when dealing with Rolex ADs especially as repeat customers. Any truth to that?
