Ten years after opening its manufacture in Neuchatel, Switzerland, Officine Panerai has announced that it will be breaking ground on a new factory at Pierre-š€-Bot, on the hills above Neuchatel. All the company’s development, production and assembly of watches and movements will be transferred to the new production facility, set to open by the end of 2013. The new factory aims to streamline Panerai¡¯s current production process. Dealer advertising a Patek Philippe 5109P-001 Gondolo, Platinum, MINT! Box & Papers for $17,900. New to PP. Is this a good price and does anyone happen to know when this model was made. Thanks in advance for your help!
So I'm considering buying my first Royal Oak, not interested in any of the chronos, I prefer 2-3 hand watches. I've been eyeing the Jumbo for a few months now and I'm pretty sure that's the one I'll end up with but I just saw the diver and it's pretty fantastic too. It's also $5K cheaper on the used market which is certainly a factor. I know they are vastly different thicknesses but both look incredible.Honestly if there was a blue dial Diver that would probably sway me. Also for those owners out there what can I expect as far as service and robustness? I've read some people have had issues so I want to go in with realistic expectations. Is the JLC movement more or less reliable than the AP?Here are some pics lifted form around here and the internet to add fire...(If they're yours feel free to tell me to take them down)ImageUploadedByTapatalk1443138703.558971.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1443138717.382894.jpg
As the title states, have a few pieces that I wear daily, but primarily my WG blue Daytona. I normally swim at least 3-5 times a week with my watch on.Would you wear a WG Daytona whilst swimming in a pool? What's your thoughts guys?Cheers.
