Omega 222.32.38.50.01.001 wrist watches news:
November 29 marked the beginning of construction at the TAG Heuer factories in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint, the Swiss Avant-Garde brand signed agreements with Swiss energy distributor Viteos, and with Planair, a Swiss consulting firm specialized in environmental issues, to equip the rooftops of its four buildings with solar panels. The decision to undertake the project came at the direction of President and CEO Jean-Christophe Babin following Leonardo DiCaprio¡¯s visit to the TAG Heuer factory in March this year.¡°Leonardo visited the factory with an eye on everything that could be done to reduce our energy consumption¡± said Babin. ¡°His factory visit in La Chaux-de-Fonds turned into an inspiring and creative environmental audit. Hi guys.Long story short. One of my mate got a set of Omegas a couple of years ago. Now he wants to sell them. And to my surprise these three watches are incredibly valuable!!! All watches are untouched with stickers and everything. So I told them that he should pay antiquorum a visit. But before that I would like your valuations as well. Is antiquorum the best option or should he sell the watches via a grey dealer. How much would he be able to cash in for these 3 watches?A complete set of 3 Omega De Ville Co-Axial Skeletons. They should be a limited edition of 30 pieces each. 1 in Platinum, 1 White Gold and 1 Yellow Goldref. 5912.30.22ref. 5932.30.23ref. 5942.30.21Thanks for your help :D
With the Watchmen movie around the corner I'm reading the graphic novel again for the umpteenth time and I'm on the chapter about Dr. Manhattan's origin and I thought all you non-comic watch fans might be interested to know that that Blue Guy in the trailer was going to enter the family business of watchmaking until his father made him choose a different path and he became a scientist.Anyhoo...that particular chapter has to do with "time" and I'm curious to see if they devote any screen-time to the time/watchmaking aspect of the book. The chapter ends with a quote from Albert Einstein: "The release of atom power has changed everything except our way of thinking...the solution to this problem lies in the heart of mankind. If only I had known, I should have become a watchmaker."
Was just watching Scrooged (for the first time) and caught this AP (circa 1980's) on Bill Murray's Wrist... Merry Christmas!
I found this glorious little gem locally and am curious if any of you gents (or ladies) could help me with it, I think it;s a Gondolo of some sort. It seems to be a good price based on what I see other Patek watches selling for but I don't know much about it other than it's in white gold and in pretty great, but obviously worn condition. Can anyone tell me a reference number and a fair price? Thanks,E.Here's a pic...
