TAG Heuer Goes Green with Solar Power
November 29 marked the beginning of construction at the TAG Heuer factories in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint, the Swiss Avant-Garde brand signed agreements with Swiss energy distributor Viteos, and with Planair, a Swiss consulting firm specialized in environmental issues, to equip the rooftops of its four buildings with solar panels. Hi guys.Long story short. One of my mate got a set of Omegas a couple of years ago. Now he wants to sell them. And to my surprise these three watches are incredibly valuable!!! All watches are untouched with stickers and everything. So I told them that he should pay antiquorum a visit. But before that I would like your valuations as well. Who Watches the Watchmen?
With the Watchmen movie around the corner I'm reading the graphic novel again for the umpteenth time and I'm on the chapter about Dr. Manhattan's origin and I thought all you non-comic watch fans might be interested to know that that Blue Guy in the trailer was going to enter the family business of watchmaking until his father made him choose a different path and he became a scientist.Anyhoo...that particular chapter has to do with "time" and I'm curious to see if they devote any screen-time to the time/watchmaking aspect of the book.The chapter ends with a quote from Albert Einstein: "The release of atom power has changed everything except our way of thinking...the solution to this problem lies in the heart of mankind. If only I had known, I should have become a watchmaker."

I found this glorious little gem locally and am curious if any of you gents (or ladies) could help me with it, I think it;s a Gondolo of some sort. It seems to be a good price based on what I see other Patek watches selling for but I don't know much about it other than it's in white gold and in pretty great, but obviously worn condition.
