Omega 25988000 wrist watches news:
So my buddy Pete's first nice watch was a Speedmaster Professional with a display back. What a beautiful watch! Anyhow, he's been looking for a "pre-moon" Speedmaster and finally found a sweet cal. 321 on another forum for the right price.Poor guy was stuck with two speedmasters! Being the great friend I am, I decided to help the poor guy out and take the original one off his hands! Pics below are of shortly after he bought it. He has HUGE wrists and was waiting for links he ordered to come in. . .that's why it's on leather in the pics (I think it looks nice though). UNFORTUNATELY I don't have any of the paperwork, so i'm not sure what caliber it is (861?) or the reference number. Anyone have a clue? Onto the pics (i'll take more on the bracelet later in the week):-James
Thought I would post a few pics of how the patina on my Bronze Zenton B42 is progressing.Just got a new strap which I think suits it very well. Just waiting on my bronze buckle then it will be perfect. What it looked like 4 months agoThis morning
I saw on another forum that George Daniels has died. If it's true, that's a huge loss.
I recently picked up one of these on Ebay. The strap is in fairly rough shape and I'm looking for some suggestions for this watch. I would, ideally, like to keep the price below $100 if possible. It needs to a 24mm lug width, and big fairly thick as this is a big, heavy watch.Photo courtesy of TimP who was kind enough to let me use a photo of his watch for illustrative purposes. Thanks,Pacman
Can anyone help me learn how to put the Pilot bracelet back on my Chronomat Evo by myself? Any instructions or videos anywhere??Thanks.
