Omega ST 378.0801 wrist watches news:
Does anyone have a definite yes or no if Rolex is upping their prices? AD's in Canada can't say for sure but some hint during the trade show in March/April? If Rolex does decide to raise prices during a global recession (??????????? on their logic) What would be the average percentage based on the past increases?
This one is another ss Seamaster that's a little less than normal - a 751 chronometer. To set the table, have a look at Desmond's article on these: snapdrive/files/47667...nSeamaster.pdfSince I sold the "C" cased caliber 751 gold capped Constellation to Scottie last year, I wanted to replace that movement. I really thought it would be another Connie in solid gold, but when the chance to buy this from a very reputable collector came up I had to pounce - especially at the more than fair price he asked. It's fully serviced as of last year, and just needs a little touch up on the case and hands which Sam will knock out when I take it to him in a week or so. Dear All,I have a rant...aumh, no a question. Is there any reason not to have a crystal back on a watch? I am now traveling and meeting old friends, and one of them share some interest for watches. He claims he wants to buy a Audemars Piguet and asked if I wanted to go with him to visit his watchmaker. Actually, I don't know how serious he is and I suspect that knowing that AP are a sort of obsession of mine, obsession which probably will remain as such for a long time, and that where I live there are no AP dealers he just wanted to give me a perfect opportunity to go visit the dealer without feeling guilty. Anyway, whatever the reason, I am not a person who say no to the proposal of going to an AP dealerNow he asked a lot of informations on the watch he claim he wants (a Jules Audemars) and I got advantage of the situation and asked some informations about my favourite one, the Royal Oak Offshore Diver. "His" watch was not at the dealer so he only asked and looked at a catalog but "mi

The 5165 is the 38mm rather than 40mm version of the Aquanaut with the same style integrated rubber strap. I think this was only produced for about 3 years. Given its relative rarity should one expect it to have higher values in the open market? I'm looking at a potential trade and have no idea what to expect.Any thoughts would be welcomed!
