- This is a cool watch. If you don't wear it everyday you will have to reset the time. It does not have the date which is slightly annoying. Overall, love it. It is and heavy.

- This is a beautiful and unique appaering causal watch, however the face is quite large and covers my wrist entirely. Because of the face size, the fit of the watch is somewhat akward.

Omega 145.014 wrist watches news:
Does Hamilton still maintain any presence in US (ie Lancaster PA)?
The watch has stopped as the power reserve has wound down. It is now when I start to end the crown on it¡¯s winding position for about 60 turns and the seconds hand does not move whatsoever. I then proceed to lightly shake the watch and the seconds hand starts to move. Immediately lay it at rest to see if it would stop as the light jerk should supposedly last under a minute. To my surprise the watch has kept running for over 12 hours now and it seems like the initial wind did raise the power reserve back up. Should I be concerned that the seconds hand doesn¡¯t move as I start winding it? With my other watches the second hand starts moving about 10-20 turns after the power reserve has died off. The watch I¡¯m talking about is the 15710st diver with a 3120 movement. I wonder if anybody else has also encountered this issue and care to share. Thanks!
Hi guys. I was thrilled to find a Chronostop like the one I own at Somlo in Burlington Arcade today. First time I see one in 10 years since I got mine at a small vintage shop. Just wanted to share the excitment with my friends here.
Dropped by the AD today to check out some PP Annual Calendar watches, probably my second favorite complication as I love the moonphase and practicality of the complication (my favorite complication is the minute repeater, which is on a whole different level). Both the 5205G and 5396 are truly stunning, although having just picked up the 5167R I wasn't about to walk out with another one today It's the first time I've had the chance to see the 5205G grey dial in person, which had always been my favorite version, and it didn't disappoint. I love the case lug design, but as I have been shifting towards thinner watches, the 5205 sat a bit higher than I had expected, although it will still fit easily under a shirt cuff. The 5396 with its classic calatrava design makes it more dressy, and the case is also thinner than the 5205. I'd happily take either one home, but not today. However, I didn't leave the AD empty handed, as the AD was kind enough to give me a copy of the Patek 175th Anniver
After a cursory and unsuccessful search of this forum, I'm going to go out on a limb and open this official thread for Oyster Perpetual Date owners.I know that the DateJust is much more popular, but the Date is fine watch in its own right. Here's my 1503!
