- I got this watch as a gift for my birthday. I saw it in an add and wanted it but upon arrival the diamonds on the face were so minuscule you cannot see them with the naked eye. The diamond sits inside of a round metal circle that I believe is supposed to mimic a diamond itself, but it detracts from the beauty of the watch. The metal rounds are too and the "diamonds" are way too . They should have used ger diamonds, eliminated the metal it sits in and charged more or left them off the face all together. The diamond-like metal and the puny diamonds make the face look kind of cheap. It's like they're trying to make the watch look like it has diamonds form a distance.

Omega 311.30.42.30.01.003 wrist watches news:
Got this yesterday......loving it! what do you guys think?
I found this on the net for a reasonable price, can anyone tell from these tiny pictures if it's real or fake..?Cheers Edit: Also, if anyone know whats movement it is (ETA I suppose?) and other curiosa about the watch I would be grateful :)
I've been searching for a Storm King V for quite some time now. I scour eBay multiple times per day, as well as routinely checking various antique/watch dealers websites. On a lark, I searched Etsy for "Hamilton Watch". And was horrified. If you haven't seen what those people do to watches, don't look. The worst part is knowing that the watch I'm obsessed with was likely destroyed to make a brooch or cufflinks.
This may seem like a ridiculous thread but I have a few questions about AP as I am completely new....1. Can someone tell me where to buy straps for a ceramic diver that are AP brand as well as non AP brand (reputable high quality)2. How does one change the straps on these watches? Also is there any difference in the movement between the Ceramic diver and the non ceramic diver (full stainless steel model) Thank you in advance for your help!
Folks,I occasionally like to imagine watches that I wish PP would make, and envision the perfect watch for me. Now, I'm not saying this is it, but the idea popped in my head while considering one of the many threads in which the 5711 is compared to the 5167. So, here it is: What if you took a 5167A case, then fitted with a version of the 5711 blue dial. Then, with the traditional lugs, PP could offer a range of interchangeable (meaning no watch tool required) leather and possibly rubber strap options. Even a ss bracelet for those who were so inclined. Other considerations: should it have Arabic or baton hour markers? Should it have a date window? Thoughts? Just seemed like a fun idea to kick around...
