Omega 3834.79.40 wrist watches news:
In 1983 Seiko began a design partnership with Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro that resulted in the production of a few very interesting pieces in the mid 1980s. For 2013 Seiko has begun a re-issue of these timepieces starting with the first model - the Seiko 7A28 6000. We can't say for sure, but we have a feeling more 1980s Giugiaro watches are coming. Giugiaro is most well-known for his automotive designs, including that of the famous DeLorean DMC-12, along with literally dozens and dozens of other cars. For the most part, the watches he designed for Seiko are spectacular and highly indicative of what 1980s futuristic design was all about. It was European, it was modern, and it alluded to a future that seemed to be as frightening as it was exciting. Seiko's Giugiaro watches gained the most fame by being featured in James Cameron's Aliens movie in 1986. Both Sigourney Weaver's character Lt. I know a lot of you guys like Elgin so I'm going to share my favorite Elgin dial.I have to give credit to Stan, some of these are his.It took me a while but I have all 5,hope you like them.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
Well I've finally gotten round to shooting some pics. Excuse them since I shot them really quickly. I always wanted a standard military watch and this is as close as I'm going to get. It's got a Hack ETA 2804 hand wind movement, sapphire crystal, date, and bead blasted finish. I didn't want another SS bracelet so I ordered some Maratec ZULU bands. I will wear this watch on the OD Green version. Here's some shots with an American hero to us boys...Wrist ShotThis Olive Drab makes it look like Viet Nam era. OD Green is MY FAVORITE!Coast Guard Orange - International Rescue Orange
Looking at these hands and it looks like they are from a 97+ Crosswinds.Do you think there are any issues with these fitting a late-80s chronomat? They are both basically 7750s right? Here is a photo of the hands.
Hey everyone, just want to ask a few questions about omega at8500 :) I love the way blue dial looks on this model. What iscurrent official price of that kind of watch? i had a look online and its around 3400¡ê, is that about right? And if im buying from the local store, what kind of discount i can expect to get? I heard that nobody really pay full price on Omega and almost always can get a discount buying new. Thanks :)
