Omega 35945000 wrist watches news:
Several more of the piece unique watches for the Only Watch 2015 charity watch auction have been revealed today, including these models from Patek Philippe, F.P. Journe, and Kari Voutilainen. Only Watch itself seems to be doing nothing, but rather, Bacs & Russo at Phillips is not only managing the information releases for the event, but also the auction itself. This is one of the first major events for Bacs & Russo and they are trying to make as big a splash as possible.High-end watch makers Patek Philippe, F.P. Journe, and Kari Voutilainen aren't new to the Only Watch auction game, and their Only Watch 2015 entries will likely be stars of the show. Basically, a Patek Philippe always steals the event with wild prices for their piece unique models. For Only Watch 2013 (the most recent event), the Patek Philippe 5004T in titanium went for almost 3,000,000 Euros. Patek's entry this year is a version of the discontinued 5016 in steel. According to Patek Philippe, the 5016 stopped b
I was just finishing sorting out watches to take to the antique show tomorrow, and I stumbled across this old Seiko......now I have seen quartz watches with 1 jewel or 6 jewels , but I have never seen a watch that says Quartz quite plainly on the dial, and then right above the 6, it also says 17 jewels......It wasn't running when I picked it up, I was going to see about putting a battery in it, ( I had not yet seen the 17 jewels label...) and I unscrewed the thin ring on the back, and there was another thin ring without notches...and as I was trying to take the back off, the whole movement crystal and dial came out in my hands.....whoops thought I ....and the crystal seems to fit inside the bezel without being glued down, and the dial is clean and the movement is hidden by the real back of the watch, and I am not at all familiar with this kind of arrangement ....so I put it all back together again .....and now it's running and what's more the second hand ( red tipped by the way ) while
I've been looking to pickup a 15400 and found a nice example with box and papers. However, the book has two pages torn out at the front - I believe the warranty papers? Does this suggest the watch has been sent to service and may have had potential issues?
Brought a brand new double seal 5390G in one of the authorise deal here in Hong Kong, cut the seal open myself at the shop, then brought it on the spot. Two days later find out there is some scratch on the gold rotor under the glass, go back to the dealer and say will send right back to swiss to fix it.have to wait at least one and half month.......what kind of quality control is that for a 65k usd watch?
All other aspects being equal, does the colour of the the bezel make a huge different to the value of, say, the GMT?
