Omega Omega 47237 wrist watches news:
Okay, so this is fun. Do you remember those color changing shirts from the 1980s? Now they have watch versions of that by Kamawatch. I know that the watch industry is slow to respond, but did it really require 30 years for this relatively basic chromatic pigment technology to find its way into fashion watches? I suppose so. There was once the Generra Hypercolor shirts and other apparel, and now we have the Kamawatch fashion timepieces available in a range of colors which change their hue at 31 degrees Celsius.Let's be clear that Kamawatches are not luxury products. These are simply plastic quartz fashion watches. Kamawatch doesn't even go so far as to offer technical specs on their website - but we asked, and the watches are 40mm wide, produced from polycarbonate with thermic technology paint. Inside the watces are Japanese Miyota quartz 2035 movements. It is seriously so difficult to offer the diameter of the watch so that people can understand how big it will be? When you observe a t
Remember General Patton's five-minute-repeating, split-second chronograph pocket watch that we covered here back in September? Well, it went up for auction today at Heritage Auctions and sold for a whopping $137,000.The watch was originally purchased for $350 (negotiated down from $600) by General Patton's father, George Patton II as a gift for his son back in 1927. 1 OF 2 The watch was originally estimated for $25,000 to 35,000 and hammered at $137,000, which is no surprise due to the provenance and level of complication. For full details on the lot, you can visit the Heritage website here. 2 OF 2
Can anyone confirm from the picture? Thanks in advance[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]And how much should it worth if it is real? Thanks again
There are many great things about living in the mountains, but mail delivery isn't one of them. I've been jealous of several of you who have already received and worn your new WTF watches. But I don't need to be jealous anymore, as my mailman finally came through today.Guess what my watch-of-the-day is going to be tomorrow?
It's been awhile since I strapped on the RDII so I figured I'd have some fun tonight (it's my in house only novelty watch) so I set it an put it on.I always have to suppress a chuckle at first because it is so dominating on the wrist (not matter if it's a 7 1/2 inch or 8 1/2 inch wrist its a humongoid watch)In decided to have a bit more fun and I took this pic with my 1962 Hamilton for comparisons sake.I'm not sure if this is progress or not but I much prefer the look, for me, with a 32mm vintage rather than a wrist dominating 50+ mm watch. After seeing the pic I now know that anything over 46 mm on my wrist will also require one of these.
