Omega 2383-6 wrist watches news:
I was curious as to what Skagen considered to be their flagship watch, so I asked them. The Danish brand has seemingly always been around in the watch world. Brands tend to have iconic looks and technologies that are imbued into flagship products that communicate the brand. Skagen's entire watch product line has a few common themes. These include use of minimalist design, titanium as often as possible, thin case profiles, function forward attitudes, Swiss movements, and reasonable prices. For 2009, Skagen replied that the watch that communicates all these notions are the men's 585XLTMXB and 585XLTMXM watches. The difference between the two models is one is constructed of gray toned titanium, while the other uses a darker black toned titanium.Let's go back a step while I give you my take on Skagen watches. A lot of the time I wake up and want to wear a serious "show me the money" watch. That isn't about glitz, but rather about "I am going to go out and conquer the day!" Other days I wan

Hi all,Since starting collecting watches a good while ago, I've always favoured Rolex over other brands. Just me I guess. Anyway, over the last week or so I've had it in my head that I need a speedmaster (mainly from looking on here) and that it should probably be sapphire to avoid issues with scratches etc. That said, I've never really liked some of the omegas I've seen as they looked big and thick etc.Anyway, I tried a hesalite speedy on today and wow. A beautiful watch, and honestly I loved the hesalite. I think the quality is great and at the price point a brilliant watch.Although 42 it wears pretty small I reckon mainly due to the bezel and dial being quite small (compared to my 42mm explorer II).It's more than likely going to be an incoming assuming I can get for the right price, I just worry I have too much black - I have a black exp Ii and a black Rolex gmt 116710ln.So would appreciate your thoughts on hesalite/sapphire and whether I need something more colourful....the rolexes
I love this watch very much. I would love to see it one day irl.afaik it is an extremely rare platinum piece but I would like to know more about the availability. On some forums I read they will make this watch 4 years, but a very few number per year. What is a few ? 50 per year ? 150 ? 250 ? 500 ?On other forums some people said it is impossible to get. They will dicontinue this platinum chronograph at basel 2009. I think the first examples were delivered half 2008.So this would mean less than 1 year production.I can't afford such a watch but I would LOVE to see one irl Will I ever get the chance to see one at the AD ?Thanks,L
I popped into an AD today and checked out their pre-owned selection. I have a 16613 blue dial but always had dreams of selling it to help fund a 16618 one day. The AD had a 16618 with serti dial and blue bezel and I was excited to try it on expecting that you would notice it on my wrist from a mile away (I had never tried on YG before today). I was underwhelmed and felt like my TT popped more than the YG.Anyone else with similar opinions? Did I just build up the YG in my head to be more than what it is?
