i've kinda been lusting after one of these for awhile. It's the natural progression of my obsession you could say. I started my wristwatch collection with my Dad's Bulova. . .one of my first vintages was a 1970 Accutron. . .then I got into vintage Omegas. . .so the next step is to marry Omega to the Accutron!!Hope the seller doesn't mind that i'm using his pics. I just paid for it Wednesday night so hopefully i'll see it early next week. This one had been floating around Timezone since before xmas and i've been eyeing it up the whole time. You see these quite often on ebay, but service history is always unknown. You see pieces that "probably just need a battery" go for around $200. Pieces that are "running strong" seem to go between $250 and $1000. (one I was watching yesterday went over $700!)So I finally picked this one up for his asking price of $325. I think it's a pretty fair price considering he recently had it serviced. I have to build service into the cost of any vint
I stumbled on this site and I am hoping that someone can help. I used to have a Casio VDB-1000 great geek watch. Then I found MSN Direct and my Suunto n3i I will actually miss the watch and the service. But now I am in need of a new watch. The feature I really loved on both watches noted is the full-screen calendar but without the bulk of a cell phone, PDA or camera never thought I'd have to exclude such electronics from a WATCH posting. Anyway, if anyone out there knows of a decent quality watch without features that makes it look like a small kitchen appliance, please let me know! Thanks!
Good day all,Please do beat me up to bad for asking this question......I come down to some financial problems with my son and have to sell my humble collection but would like to at least find a nice speedy. Your thoughts fellas?
