Panerai PAM wrist watches news:
LVMH Mo?t Hennessy Louis Vuitton recorded revenue of €10.3 billion in the first half of 2011, an increase of 13%. Profit for the first half rose to €2.223 million, an increase of 22% compared to the same period in 2010, which had itself shown strong growth. Organic revenue for watches and jewelry grew by 27% and profit from recurring operations increased by 73%. The Group saw sustained growth in the U.S., Europe and Asia.LVMH attributed strong revenue growth at TAG Heuer to the automatic chronograph with the 1887 Calibre movement, to the new women¡¯s ranges in the Formula 1 line, and to the selective opening of TAG Heuer stores. TAG Heuer opened its flagship U.S. boutique in Las Vegas in June.New Hublot King Power models with manufacture Unico movements were also cited as contributing to the results.LVMH said Zenith saw strong demand for its new collections. The first half was also marked by the Group’s agreement with the Bulgari family for the contribution of its majority sharehol
I received my meistertaucher about 3 weeks ago. It has been 15 - 25 seconds fast per day. Is this normal or should I send it in for a regulation?
Wowthis one on the swamp is hard to believe: 190579824646For about a millisecond, I thought I was about to grab a Spectra for only $250. Well, it's a Spectra dial (what's left of it) mounted sideways in a a case (to accommodate the 4 o'clock crown position) and pushed into a screwback case. It likely still has an electric movement in it since the stem is still at 4 o'clock.Other than that, this one is a bit of a mess. Sad.-Chris
So as some of you may know from my older post, i just got a used 15300 Royal Oak which arrived running several minutes fast per day. I sent it off the the AP service center in clearwater for diagnosis and repair. The watch is just over three years old but the previous owner never signed up for the third year warranty so the warranty period was expired. I was afraid I was going to get slammed with a 1k+ repair bill on a watch i had just purchased. Anyway, just hours after receiving my watch, I got a call from Betsy at AP customer service. She told me they were currently diagnosing my watch and that I would get a call the next morning with the diagnosis and repair estimate. This morning bright and early, I get another call from Betsy saying that the watch is apparently running fast due to displaced oils causing the hairspring to stick. She told me that even though the watch is out of warranty, they are going to do a complete service for free and give me a two year warranty on the watch.
Hello friends,I have asked a while ago but I'd like to have more opinions. The situation is as follows:My first and still only Rolex.. It's a 2010 Submariner 16610 that I bought NOS 4 years ago after working my ass off for 1 whole summer at the age of 22. Wearing it proudly and happily every day. The watch is still in very great shape (mint+). It runs quite well (a bit too fast). Therefor I don't want to polish the case as I have learned RSC completely grinds the watch, including the brushed lugs and refinishes everything. Well.. there's not a lot to refinish... but there is 1 ding that bothers me very much. Especially because it's caused by pure stupidity and I have a hard time living with it. It needs to go.Click for large. (2.5mm width) I've sent a few pics to RSC K?ln (they are very very friendly btw) and asked about laser-welding which they offer. They suggested I'd come by with the watch. Yesterday I've asked at Rolex Amsterdam and the white-dressed men stressed not to touch this
