Well, here it is, my first art deco watch from the roaring twenties!All of these Illinois pics you guys have been showing really got me interested in this period. I think this watch is a real beauty and what a restoration job on it, it's just perfect, as though it just came out of the factory. It has a very nice redial and the hands are perfect to. The 6 jewel movement keeps time very nicely. Gorgeous cordovan band to. I havn't found a name for this model, but the year is 1927. The case is somewhat plain for it's day, because I have seen some really ornate cases and dials from some Benrus watches in that period. These are the sellers pics, because they really do the watch justice and are far better than my own, although I'll take a few of my own soon to -

My 1939 Bulova watch
According to the Complete Guide to Watches by Cooksey Shugart this watch is a 1939 diamond dial with a platinum case. I can not find any other information other then a picture from the book and the date. I have never seen another of it's kind. This watch went to Germany in WWII with my father and hasn't run since. I am having it restored now. Does anyone know any other information about my watch? The watchThe Pix
