Panerai PAM00620 wrist watches news:
Has anyone ever needed to get an Orient serviced under warranty? I've only had my Mako 2 days, and it's working fine. But I'm curious what the repair process is like, just in case.Day 2 with it on my wrist and I can really see the blue now. I'm in a dark laser tag place with my kids, and it looks blue to me and not black.Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

None of the company's records indicate the reason for the change. Interestingly, this is one of the few models that was never shown in the catalog with the applied gold numeral dial version. From what I've seen on eBay, the ratio of dials with gold numbers vs. black is at least 20:1.1935193619371938
I would have preferred not to make this post but after a recent issue in the Japanese and Asian forum I feel that I must say something. This is not a broad shot at one individual but let¡¯s just say it made me think a little more because the problem is more widespread and becoming deeply ingrained in the forum. When I originally joined the forum I felt welcomed as all new members were, but there has been a change in the way the forum behaves. There is very little tolerance for new members making their first post if no pictures are included. At first if a new member in their first post asked a question they were welcomed and then advised that to get further help they would need provide pictures of the watch and movement for identification. The approach at the moment is for 4 or 5 members to subject the new poster to comments like ¡°I can¡¯t think without pictures¡± and one reply from an existing member included a joke reply regarding ¡°need pictures¡±. If you go back and look at these first po
Just received my new strap i ordered from Panatime.First off, Panatime kicks butt. Delivery was super quick and great products. Here are some new pics of my Breitling SuperOcean SteelFish XL:
I have decided to purchase a 5170, having sourced both a 5170G and 5170J new in the box from AD and from non AD sources.Herein lies the dilemma - the purchase price from the ADs is about $18K all in at the end of the day. One of the non AD watches has the papers and everything blank. When speaking to one AD they have told me that some watches are sourced from other countries where currency exchange rates make it favourable to purchase them offshore as resellers. Occasionally an AD will go out of business and liquidate inventory to the reseller market. Whenever a Patek is sold the AD reports the sale to Patek and the watch is recognized. The resellers even if the papers are blank are not able to do this.Is this correct? Does it matter from a warranty basis? Could Patek refuse to service a grey watch as some Ad would like you to belive?Clearly the pedigree from factory through AD to the end user is of value but how much? Thanks
