One of the vintage models I have long coveted is the Bradford model that was first introduced in 1954 (if memory serves me) and seems to have been produced for a number of years thereafter. After a few years the name was changed to Bradford "B." Based on the old catalogs and what I have seen online the Bradfords were Masterpiece models with solid 14K cases and Hamilton's superb 22 jewel 770 movement. They seem to have been quite popular as award/retirement gifts during the late 50s and early 60s. Recently I have seen a couple Bradfords with a 17 jewel 747 movement. Are these some kind of frankenwatch or are they legit? Currently there is one on the infamous auction site with this configuration, but it seems weird considering that it has a diamond dial (standard movement with solid gold case and diamonds?). This one is priced too high IMO, but I am curious as to what is correct because when I do eventually buy one I want to make sure all is well. Thank you in advance!

I have the opportunity to purchase a Limited Edition Breitling B1 with box and papers. It's called the B-1 US Navy Adversary watch. According to a website that I visited, there were only 25 of these watches made. The watch has been worn but is in good shape. Two questions. Does anyone have any additional information on the watch, and can anyone tell me what this watch is worth? Here's a Wikipedia link to some information about the logo on the left of the watch face. And here's an image of the watch.
Hmmm.Nevermind!Thanks!~
