Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 7078 wrist watches news:
The Oris watch company dazzles the audience with the presentation of his new Carlos Coste Limited Edition Cenote series watch. The novelty is a blink of eye friendly to Carlos Coste, a world class free-diver and record holder. In 2010, he surprised the world in swimming without 150 meters through a passage into Dos Ojos. The latter is a cellar etwork of colossal twists of 31 miles under the Yucatan to the Mexico.
Coming to you live from the south of France, where I was just shown a brand new limited edition Blancpain chronograph that has a lot going for it. Its official name is the Ocean Commitment Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph, but what it is to us collectors is a limited edition take on the new Bathyscaphe chrono shown at Basel this year with an awesome new high-beat, in-house chronograph. There is a lot to like here, and on top of this new watch, Blancpain also announced a massive, 475-page chronicle of the entire history of the Fifty Fathoms, the very first modern dive watch. 2 OF 4 First, the watch. This limited run of 250 watches features a gorgeous blue dial, with blue ceramic bezel. But what is most interesting (IMHO) is that while the case looks like either brushed steel or titanium, it is neither. It is, in fact, a matte grey ceramic. It's light and tough, but with the look of traditional materials. This new piece looks fantastic, and I think it's easily my fav
I was a university club auction and there was an expensive watch for sale that no one big on. The minimum bid was $600 for a Raymond Weil Geneve Swiss watch listed at $2750 and no one left a bid. I could have had the watch for that price. I considered doing it to resell but I just didn't know much about this piece. I forgot to look it up before the event and then didn't located it at the silent auction till seconds before the bidding closed.I believe it was the don giovanni cosi grande. Is this a piece I could have resold easily for more than $600? It's a nice piece. I would have gladly kept it, but my wife would kill me if I bought anouther watch at this time.
