Hamilton parts/advice request - 1936
I have 2 Hamiltons from Ca. 1936 I'm trying to restore but need some parts and/or good advice. I know asking for 75 year old watch parts is a little crazy, but I also know many of the good forum members have some pretty unusual stuff laying around.My first one is a 1936 Morley:As you can see, she has a nice black enamel dial, which I believe to be original. But as you can see in the 2nd photo, the case-back has a crack in the upper right hand corner. Also, after it recently came back from the watch doctor, the stem came out of the movement when I tryed to set it. My watch doctor said it was time to find a replacement movement. So I'm looking for a case-back and a 987-E movement for the Morley.My second is a Ca. 1936 Drake (got to love the Drake!). I also believe this has an original dial in good shape. The movement is also fine. But there's a fair amount of bassing to the high points of the bezel and the case-back is a mess. I'm wondering if anyone as a good case-back for the

Incoming alert - about to join the club
Well, after drooling over the AP forum for a little while, I decided to do what most everyone here has done at one point or another and relied on David SW to come through for me and get my grail watch. Anxiously awaiting delivery on Saturday of the first AP in my collection. This will go along nicely with my Patek and Vacheron to complete my Holy Trinity and I can't wait. Pics coming soon....
