Question....I'm no expert on Tissots though I do have a really nice fully overhauled 516 in the watch box. I recently bought a vintage tank style Tissot, gold, 17 jewel. It's a Mathey-Tissot. What's the difference between the Mathey-Tissots, and the Tissots???

I found a good deal on this watch so I thought I would try it out for a new daily beater at the office, something I don't have to worry about scratching or nicking through my daily routine.It's a Tissot PRC 200 with the leather band (will probably pick up the steel bracelet as well to get the most out of it). First off I gotta say, the packaging of this watch was very impressive (to me) for a watch that costs under $500. I guess the pics can speak for themselves. Second, the strap on this thing was very strange for me to put on with the dual releasing clasps. Hopefully that bit grows on me. The other strange thing is that the large yellow second hand is actually for the chronograph, the real second hand display is at the 6oclock position. The watch looks quite handsome and feels relatively well made, though the pushers have a weird clicking resistance to them, not very smooth.
