A real fixer-upper!
Somebody got an interesting project watch:cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_500wt_1182These cases are really chunky and wear very big. I saw one at my watchmaker's last year, and have since seen a couple here & there including a Jaeger LeCoultre that was identical. If there's any of you guys who shy from vintage watches because they're too small, this is one answer. In good shape they sell for $250 - $325 on average and have the caliber 431. Question about some Seiko's
Are these two Seiko's from the mid 70's and is the one on the right for a left handed person? Also is the gold tone a quartz movement? These are the best pictures I can get.

Well, I¡¯m officially hooked! Second Patek Philippe from my AD, and in less than three months! Received my 5711/1a at the first of the year, and now just received my 5167a!I know at first glance these two are similar pieces with the movement, size, and bezel. But they wear and look very different in the flesh. And this may be sacrilegious to say, but I think I like the 5167 even more than the 5711! It doesn¡¯t photograph as well as the Nautilus, but it¡¯s stunning in person! I wear shorts, t-shirts/polos and flip flops most every day and the Aquanaut goes with that lifestyle perfectly. Needless to say, I couldn¡¯t be happier! Coupled with my 114060, I think I¡¯m set (for a while, haha!) with my 3 watch mini-collection. And this forum has been so educational and knowledgeable about brands and references, without being condescending to others with different opinions. Poll: 5327G v 5320G
Baselworld 2016 v 2017. Magnificent blue = difficult to read but breguet anyday! The 5327 classic with a suit and the 5320 would look as good with jeans. Busy dial versus simplicity....5327 about 5% more but the 5320 has the instantaneous change function which is cool (might even get hacking one day!) I am sure lots of purists comment on ultra thin 240 at 3Hz and the upstart 324 at 4Hz... which do we prefer?
