Recall Your Math Classes With The Fortis 2pi Watch
When it comes to the so-called "art watches," there are a few brands that I would offer up as creating watches of this nature. Funnily enough, until today, Fortis was not a brand that I would have put into that category. As it is largely a dial-based sort of effort, though, it would not be a surprise to see, well, any brand create something like this. That said, with the help of Rolf Sachs, we now have the Fortis 2pi available for us.Apparently, the Fortis 2pi is part of the Terrestis collection which was recently introduced, but of course, this model is something of a different nature. Looking at the dial, you see what looks almost like a whiteboard with various geometry-related things scribbled down, with two pi symbols showing up as part of calculations that one would expect to result in approximations for the angles?at?the?2 o'clock and 5 o'clock positions. Rolex vs AP - as a watch brand
As a watch brand where do you consider AP as compared to Rolex? Is it the same league? I hear some people say that they are different leagues while others consider it to be the same.

ROO lugs won't fit my wrist!!!
Does anyone with smaller wrists like mine experience this same problem? I tried the Safari at an AD today and I feel that the lugs won't sit on my wrist, it seems to be protruding out in an awkard manner.I'll try to post pics ASAP.On the bright side the sales staff was really good and gave me a full price list.

two watch collection
I've been spending too much time on this forum and it's bad for my health. Considering consolidating my collection to two watches. Flipped the 5167a since it didn't sing to me quite like I had hoped, and same for my offshore. Been thinking about the 5164, 5167r, 5712, AP 15202, or smurf sub. JLC Jubilee ultrathin platinum would be the other watch. I'm waiting for the 5711, but it's been a year at my dealer still with some others ahead of me, so im not going to hold my breath for that one. I'm also particular to the dual time of the 5164, and the chocolate dial of the 5167r. Smurf sub seems like an ideal only watch, but I was irritated by the flak I got for my 16610lv just because it was a rolex (even tho I never got comments on my ap or patek or jlc). Just curious what everyone's thoughts are.
