Philip Stein 7-SCDMOP-GPE wrist watches news:
Here is another artful creation from Angular Momentum that has caught my eye. Using beautiful Damascus steel, the La Boulle Classic Damascus watch combines the unique type of metal work with Angular Momentum's common disc display dial and case. The dial is purely minimalistic. A black sapphire crystal has a window opening to a white color disc. There is a line applied to the window so that you can read the time. The disc moves once around the dial each 12 hours. It may not be the most precise way of reading the time, but it does give way to a world of possibilities when it comes to what to do with the rest of the dial. Sometimes, Angular Momentum dresses the dial up with verre ??glomis painting on the back of the sapphire crystal. Sometimes, you simply have a watch design where the case and dial together make for an artistic statement. The latter design concept helps to frame the La Boulle Classic Damascus watch. What does that mean, exactly? An art watch versus a standard watch> Or

Good morning fellow watch talk forumers, I recently made a purchase of a seiko 5 with luminous dial, it runs well, the luminous dial is good, but what I would like to know is why this particular seiko 5 have a day wheel that is operated by pushing the crown? Inspecting the see thru back the markings on the rotor says 7s26a, does the 7s26 have this feature? All of my other 7s26s have quickset day/date function but is manipulated by turning the crown, not pushing it.Here is a photo of the watchOn the see thru case back it also has a marking saying that the watch is "water ressistant 10 bar", can this be trusted? Thanks in advance:)
Super excited to get this rare piece. Now you can all share my exhilaration and anxiety...And the clock starts tickingSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Hello allI am happy to have joined this forum, as even though I have a lot to learn, I do feel like I've learned a lot on here Last week or so, I learned from a member on here, that the 6 digit Submariner case, has a groove cut into it, between the lugs, where the solid end links on the bracelet sit (or something like that). I understood from this member that this groove destroys leather straps. Is there a way to use a leather strap on a 6 digit Submariner, without having to use end links, or curved lug ends, or curved spring bars? Many thanks to all
