- I love the design of this watch. The bow adds just the right touch to make it elegant. I bought it in 3 colors and wear them often. This is definitely a classy timepiece. Treat yourself to something nice, this is it.

Maria has won the 3rd Grand Slam of her career at the Australian Open today as she defeated #4 seed Ana Ivanovic of Serbia 7-5 6-3 in 1 hour and 31 minutes on a hot and sunny afternoon in Melbourne. Congratulations Maria!Throughout the whole tournament Maria was the form player as she defeated 3 top 4 players in a row and didn't drop a set with a fine display of tennis. Maria is the 1st Russian woman to win the Australian Open and she has now won 3 of the 4 Grand Slams (the missing one is Roland Garros). After 4 relatively comfortable holds of serve, Maria broke Ivanovic to lead 3-2 when Ivanovic floated a backhand long. Maria broke to 15 and then held her serve with a dazzling display of shots. Ivanovic then held her serve and broke Maria when Maria double-faulted to level the set 4-4. Ivanovic kept the pressure on Maria as she held her serve to lead 5-4 and was 0-30 on Maria's serve but Maria stormed back to take the next 4 points to level the set 5-5. Maria maintained her moment
It seems everyone is a photoshop or some other sort of photo editing software user these days. I have no problem with someone using this kind of program to display their own work on forums but when it comes to editing photo's of watches for sale then it crosses the line. Dennis had made a post about a VC watch on the beginners forum and he mentioned how an accent mark missing from above the e in the word Geneve and this helped him save $2800, but what if the photo had been put into some editing software and a little black stroke added and he would have been out of his cash. watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/54184.htmThe seller of the following watches is co author of The Complete Price Guide to Watches and I figure he should know better than to be editing his photo's in this manner, personally I think he makes the watches look worse. In a sale I would much rather see just a straight up shot of the watch without any editing at all, scroll down each sale to see the larger photo's.Waltham
I thought I would make a little photo list of watches that are highly recognizable to even the beginning and aspiring HOG (horologically obsessed guru). These are the watches which have succeeded in staking out a striking original design that people notice. When I go out to eat or anyplace, really, I like to look around and see if I can spot a watch in the wild. I'm trying to make a list of some watches that I would recognize from ten feet or so. Now, there are some watches like the GP Three Bridges that is pretty recognizable, but due to the price, I've excluded it. The chances of seeing a $100,000 watch is almost zero. Same goes for Richard Mille and some others. So they are not on the list. Also missing is the Rolex Sub. There are just too many 'homages' and 'replicas' to bother with it. I never know.I think this is a pretty good list of watches a person might actually see out there. Nice watches. Maybe you can think of some others. Here we go:
Hi everyone, I'm looking at this one to replace a previous speedy I traded. Just wanted to get some input on the model/condition and whether it's fairly priced. Also, should I have any concerns if I move forward with the deal and it's being shipped from Canada? forums.watchuseek/f29/fs-...a-3397410.htmlThanks,
