Hi All,These are some pics of a recent family holiday in Cornwall UK.We were in the UK for 3 weeks in August and it rained almost every day.The amazing and dangerous Cornwall coast.This was a different beach along the coast a couple of days later. My dad was given a Patek...
He used to collect Rolexes, and is beginning to get back into it, which is cool. His wife gave him a Patek Phillipe and I am not sure what model it is...it has a few complications on the front and if you turn the watch over theres a lunar star chart moving thing on the back. Good afternoon all - just something minor to share, but very interesting. I'm up in the Syracuse are for two days. I popped into Henry Wilson Jewelers in the East Syracuse area, inside a smaller mall. Authorized retailer. Began to talk watches (I had my 116610 on). I said, I would love to add the 'Hulk' in the future. Salesman said, Oh, the Wicked Witch, a wonderful piece. Not easy to source right now. I couldn't fathom what he was talking about when he explained that several people have called the Hulk the Wicked Witch, due to the all-green dial and bezel, similar in color to the Wicked Witch of the West i the Wizard of Oz. Personally, I think Hulk is more fitting, but this was so interesting to hear. At least to a watch dork like me....
