A vulcanized rubber ring makes it easier to manipulate the bezel. The ProDiver¡¯s titanium case houses a black DLC-coated safety barrier to protect the crown and pushers while still allowing them to be screwed into the case, ensuring water-resistance to 1000 meters. The ProDiver also offers a self-regulating helium valve for those who dive in deep-sea conditions. Oris ProDiver Chronograph Specifications: Ref: 674 7630 71 54 RS/MB? Diameter: 51.0 mm? I think we all know and appreciate the famous Jaeger-LeCoultre icon 'The Reverso'. Designed by a man named Chauvet. The patent was granted to Chauvet in France 1931 and then Switzerland in 1933.Chauvet sold the invention rights to Jaeger-LeCoultre for 10,000 Swiss Francs in addition to 2.5 francs for every watch sold. The 'Reverso' is an icon of watch design, launched in 1931 with a Tavannes movent and well alive today, with 80 yrs of unstopped production of that marvelous 'art-deco' style. Here is my Reverso from 1933."stand back in amazement' when I find a pocket watch with a 'Reverso' style case patented by J.M. Durand, of Newark, New Jersey in 1858, some 73 yrs prior to Chauvet/Jaeger-Lecoultre.James Durand termed it in his patent 'Magic Watchcases'The watch is English made by John Richards - Liverpool, England key wind pocket watch.Full plate, fusee, table roller lever escapement, 3-arm gold balance, solid engraved cock with regulator, applied silver scale on top plate, jewelled
Hello members,My first post. First of all, thank you to the mods and members of this site to help bring together a great community of WISs.I have just purchased a pre-owned Omega Planet Ocean 42mm 2500 calibre movement. I know it's a little too late ask this now, but wanted your opinion on its authenticity. I have no reason to believe that the watch is not authentic, but it's my first (and hopefully many more to come) big watch purchase and it'd be nice to have your confirmation. What do you guys think? Should I get it checked by an AD for authenticity? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
