Piaget 9582 wrist watches news:
I got this size 6/0s Waltham last week that was in a giant lot of 40 that I bought. Out of the 40 maybe 8 are usable and restorations have begun. I don't know how many case backs I have popped open in my life, probably a thousand or so but this one made me do a double take and look twice. I pretty much know the solid gold hallmarks and stamps on the watches that I deal in by memory and I don't have to reference a book very often to know what I have in front of me. But this one made me crack open a book. At first glance it just looked like gold fill but on the second glance I thought that I got lucky and that it was solid gold. I checked the book for this Waltham mark but it was NOT in the gold filled section of the book. I knew that I have seen this one before so on a whim I looked in the solid gold mark section of the book and there it was right in front of me! The same exact mark in the solid gold section of the book! Looks like somebody in the past did an acid test to check for cont
What a day! I got a few new to me watches today, One is the Seiko 7002, and Seiko auto chrono6139. I have only seen the chrono on the bay, not in person, They both run excellent and the scuba is near mint.If anyone has anythig to share about either of these that would be great!
Hi.Please let me know what you think about them, some one wants to sell them to me.
Asking advice from Breitling fans and experts....I've been in the hunt for one. Besides the drop on the resale value, is there anything I should worry about?TIA
I have a bit of a conundrum. I have a SS SkyD which is my daily driver at the moment. My other watches are a Tag chrono (40mm) and an Omega seamaster chrono (41.5mm). My wrists are a tad under 7.I've always liked the DD, and have been eyeing the 118238 or a 18238. I went to a AD and tried one on and it felt so small. It didn't look right but I'm assuming it's because I haven't warn a 36mm since who knows. Does anyone here alternate often between a 36mm and a larger watch? Am I just so used to 40mm+ that 36mm will always feel small? CheersRSent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk
