- Over all the watch is beautiful. Keeps accurate time. The face is accually more purple than blue which was not dissappointing to me but just beware, because the picture is deceptively more blue!

Seiko SGG711 wrist watches news:
I know this has got to be the most mundane post EVER, and proves I have way too much time that should be spent elsewhere. But, this has bothered me every time I look at it and I couldn't figure out why. It's a 50th Anniversary limited edition! It should say something stylish, like "50th Anniversary Limited Edition" or "Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the first Hamilton Electric Wristwatch". Instead, it says "Water resistant 30m, stainless steel, Sapphire Crystal." Thanks for reading.
I've got a question regarding titanium; it's something that I've just recently realized. Is it less susceptible to "desk diving" marks than stainless? My Oris and my now-departed Omega suffered from them easily. With my Breitling, I don't do anything different; wear it the same way I wore the others, sitting at my desk, etc. Yet, Insofar as I can tell, this thing marks up nowhere near as much as the Omega and the Oris.Is it my imagination, or is titanium, somehow, more resiliant to scuffs and such?
Finally got a chance to take a photo of my newest pickups. Super blessed and thankful to be able to add these two bad boys to my growing collection. I have to say i am VERY happy with the ROO & its fitment. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and i must say it fits GREAT on my wrist. I'm very tempted to put a stainless bracelet on my ROO..shall i?
So I got rid of my PO 8500 cal. Im currently with out an Omega. I happen to be by the Omega boutique and stopped in. I'm in love with the new Seamaster 300! I use to own this watch, mine was new in 98. It had the wave dial. I realized how much I miss this model. The new version does not have the wave dial, it has the new ceramic bezel and the Lume has been increased. Very clean- What a beautiful watch! I'm sure I'll be adding this watch in the near future.
I¡¯ve been looking for a slim dress watch and narrowed it down to the 5120G, which unfortunately is discontinued. I prefer 2 hands and micro rotor over the current 3 hands/manual 5119.Was about to commit until the seller dropped this bomb. Not sure if I¡¯m just unrealistic to expect an unpolished 5120 (but who wears a dress watch daily to warrant a polish ), but 14 years is old. The lugs also don't look sharp at all.The 5119 is now only $17480 list, so what do you all feel about $13500 for this 5120? Full set with papers. From seller:This watch has been refinished, and it looks great. It was originally purchased in 2003. We do not have any service records for it, but it was fully tested/inspected by our watchmakers and deemed to be in proper working order.
