The majority of new Breitling watches that are released don't excite me. It is a lot of the same to be honest. Oh look, another chronograph watch in a heavy highly polished metal case, maybe with a rotating bezel or a slide rule. That is basically most Breitling watches - although some are better looking than others. This watch is different because it is of the few that has the cool SuperQuartz calibre 78 movement. This is the movement that the famous and popular Aerospace models had. Yes, it is a quartz movement, but it is what is known as a "themoline" quartz. Meaning it has a temperature sensor that adjusts the vibration frequency of the quartz crystal to adjust to temperatures so that the watch can remain as accurate as possible. This takes the watch from being accurate to within a few seconds a month to being accurate to within a few seconds a year. Why Rolex???
Been looking at Rolex lately and I'm seriuosly considering selling my Breitling SA to purchase either a sub. or a sea-dweller.....My watch is currently listed on another forum for trade...The Rolex brand has been speaking to me more and more, I've noticed resale value seems exellent, quality is without question, any comments, links, or added encouragement is welcomed convince me........:)Cheers,Pablo.E

My current wish/shopping list
I thought I'd post up what my current wish/shopping list is. This isn't a dream list, this is what I hope to realistically acquire over the next few years. Of course things may change as I see watches that need to be added to the list or replace ones that are already on it.This is in a rough order or acquisition.Appologies in advance if I have snaffled anyone's pictures. I usually save pics that I like for a screen saver and wallpaper and don't keep a track of where I got them from. Let me know and I can change the pics.I like this one. It is nice and simple, clean and elegant for a chrono. I like the leather strap on it. Yes, it is quartz and not auto, but it makes it more affordable and will ease my wife into this watch thing. This one would be a daily wear, work style watch.I love the yellow. I need (yes, need!! ) a diver that I actually feel comfortable wearing to the beach and the pool. The colour makes it a nice, fun one to wear in surf and sand. Sure, the Omega is a dive watch,

Royal Oak Incoming!!!
Just got my Royal Oak 15400 Black Dial. I've been debating for months which watch I should pick up next and finally picked this once an awesome deal popped up. I had tried it on many times before buying it and fell in love with it, so I'm beyond happy to finally have it on my wrist. The bracelet is ridiculously comfortable and the dial and movement are beautiful to look at. I'm finally content with my collection and don't see myself buying a new watch for a very long time, nor can I really afford one after this. Bonus collection shot at the end!

Hey guys. Does anyone knows production years for 3539.50? I own Speedmaster automatic and i can't find any database for this particular model. Serial number is 9156XXXX.
