- This watch is really pretty, well made, expensive looking. Great feature - with the black and white leather straps. BLEM it is too darn for my 7 1/2 inch wrist. It looks wrong and I am not one to wear jewelry.

Rado R21.714.71.2 wrist watches news:
OK, finally I got my third and most wanted Rolex up to date, but I found the date changing behavior a little strange...The watch starts to change at 12:04 midnight, and it makes a quick half change (you can see half of the current and half of the next date)Then stays in this position for around 30 minutes, and then changes completely to the next dateAlso, when adjusting manually, it does the exact same thing, doesn't have the "quick jump" as my other Rolexes...I think this can be due to the "non adjustable/syncronized" 24 hour hand, that reaches midnight together with the hour and minute hands...Is this normal behavior? My Date and Sub, quickly changes at 12:00Any opinions? or should I return the watch as malfunctioning? it's brand new from AD
Hi GuysRecently Ive been looking at a DateJust for my wife and found a lovely looking example at a reasonable price in a local dealer which had received good feedback from some friends. However Ive since found that the dial has been refinished (the salesman didnt present this information but didnt hide it when I asked). It sounds like it was repainted and diamonds added. Now the watch looks lovely and im sure my wife would be over the moon and wouldnt mind that it had been refinished. It has original box and paperwork. But i just cant get my head around the fact that im paying a (relatively to my current situation) large amount for a non 100% genuine watch. But it seems hard to find a genuine one! My folks where in London today and they went to a store and they guy said most of the watches of that age have some aftermarket additions and it will be very hard to find a genuine example without doubling the price. So my choices are to buy this and accept it for what it is or search for a
Since the serial number is engraved on the inner ring, is it also stampedbetween the lugs at 6 or are those cases with on "RRR rehaut" watches universal for a particular model?TIA.
Anyone know when Breitling went from the stylized B to the Wings on the clasp, ideally on the Datora model.
My question is:Let¡¯s say hypothetically you had 15k to spend on a watch. Would you buy a used watch or go to an AD? Would you buy the 118238 DD or a new SUB ? I mean I have never been to an AD and may be taking a trip there tomorrow. What can you get from an AD for 15k?Thank you in advanceJohn
