Rado 180.0286.5 wrist watches news:
I bought this one a couple of weeks ago, but had to send it off to the watchmaker as the crown fell out when I tried to set the time. Additionally, my watch guy found this, a broken spring lever:Overall, the case is in excellent shape and the back looks new as well. The silver dial shows an even patina, which to the eye (not the camera), almost looks like it was the original motif. The crystal is clean, clear, and has just a few minor nicks. The case is polished on the vertical surfaces and brushed on the horizontal ones. The hands are very thin, and the hour markers follow that theme. The case, additionally has a low profile, just 9mm from the caseback to the top of the crystal. The watch shipped with a Chinese "leather band", that I must admit, does the finest imitation of plastic that I've ever seen Unfortunately, a Kelaran lizard band I ordered was shipped by the USPS to Cincinnati, IA and only now is on its way to meCompared to the others in my 760/761 collection, this particu
Did anyone catch the Science Channel Show 'Factory Made'? They showed the assembly of TAG Heuer Carrera chronographs.
I'm currently on my hols in Malta. I dragged my wife to the local Patek AD in Valetta today and was surprised to see they had a 5235 in the window. I was actually going in to try the 5170 which was there but I don't think its for me. I was taken by the 5235 though, my only concern was it did look a bit big on my 6.75 wrist, but they could just because I'm used to 39mm.When I get back to the UK I'm on the look out to try the first generation ALS Datograph. Obviously these are very different watches, I already have the following 5167, 5711, 5146, 5396. What would you go for next The Regulator or The Datograph?
I let get away a few years ago comes home brand new 1 day old thanks to my friend George M from Govberg in Philadelphia. I always regretted letting this one go and finally decided it was time to get her back! In fact I also had an AP RG RC years ago and also let it go and regretted it so yesterday I got her back as well. So--back to back RG returns and both truly special to me!
Ordered a dark tabacco desert alligator strap from Di Stefano for my Radomir 210 ... Which i was wearing on a black alligator from TWB .... Now the strap arrived yesterday and also it smells great and is butter soft ... I like the look and structure of the TWB strap better .... I now fitted it on my 372 ...What do you think?I regret i bought it ... Will it grow on me?
