For 2009 Ebel unveils its latest Brasilia Mini collection. Known for their steel and gold models, the Brasilia features a streamlined rectangular case and H-shaped bracelet. Red gold accents appear on the bracelet’s intermediate central links and on the iridescent mother-of-pearl dial through the logo, hands, 6 and 12 o¡¯clock Roman numerals, and surrounding the diamond hour-markers. The pictured model’s case is set with 34 VVS-IF Top Wesselton diamonds totaling .54 carats. The dial features 10 diamonds. Available in April 2009.

I'm new here, as you can see. I'm not a big collector but appreciate the engineering in a watch movement. I bought an 'Atrexa' off U.K. e-bay afew months ago, it's a '70s looking divers watch, in stainless with day date diplay on the RHS of the face and a bi-colour rotating bezel. Can anybody tell me anything about them, i've googled it but just get ladies dress watches, thanks in advance.

Building a Pilot's watch
Hey, fist time poster, Well I have decided to get myself a good automatic watch for flying. I did some research and decided that I want a chrono grade Valjoux 7750 movement. The only other requirement is that second hand (and the stopwatch hand) need to be highly visible and illuminated, as I need to be able to count off seconds easily for flying). I have been looking at O&Ws and some Marathons, then I found this site,[non-sponsor link removed] And figured I would talk to my local watch shop and just build my own watch. I like the case from ofrei however I need a dial and bezel that more resembles this (with the E6B slide rule), of course it has to accommodate the Val 7750.or maybe this (though I would rather have all black) I'm thinking overall I would like a cross between a SAR and that Aviation watch I posted the pic of Does anyone know where I can find a bezel/dial, etc??? Thanks Guys

No teaser this time, straight on with the show. Now some of my comments on other threads will make sense! I was fortunate enough to liberate this unworn from a collector. It's difficult to tell in the photos, but it has the fantastic blue strap also used on the 5235G.Unfortunately some of my other (non-Patek) pieces have bitten the dust, but I have absolutely no regrets!
