Roger Dubuis SED461451 wrist watches news:
HiThis is my first time posting and after reading posts as a guest for a while I am hoping i can get some advice please.I have my heart set on a normal Navitimer, blue dial, croco blue strap and I have rang Sol-Time in Orlando who are an authorised dealer and I promised to send details so they can give me a quote.I went on the Breitling website and on to the configurator and it says I can send it by email.I have 2 questions1. Has anyone had experience of using this functionality on the website or i have I completely mis-understood what this option does2. Living in the UK my experience so far is that decent discounts off the RRP are hard to come by and as I am in Orlando in June, I wandered if anyone has experience of US authorised dealerships being able be a little more generous when it comes to discounts. Is 15%+ setting my expectations too high? Thanks in advance for your advice and I can't wait to get hold of my first Breitling.Woody71
I am thinking that I would like to add to my collection a watch that I didn't have to wind and set before wearing and so was thinking of a quartz. But I was struck with the thought that a Seiko Kinetic would also fit the bill. If I am correct, once fully charged they will run for years without further charging, yes?So I am after suggestions. This is to be a watch I can wear to work and "good casual" kinds of things. I like divers but probably have enough. I like a complication or two on watches but don't want it to be too busy. Maybe a chrono, maybe a power reserve indicator, maybe GMT. Oh, and not too expensive or hard to get a hold of.So, any suggestions? And please, lots of pics!!
I'm beginning to feel the pressure. Actually, it's just that the more I see of the OM, the more it grows on me. So, is there a forum sponsor that sells the OM? I'm considering it as one possibility if I can sell my Raymond Weil and a couple of vintage watches, but won't know how much I need to save up until I find one for sale!
Do you guys think I have any chance of finding the silver snoopy while in Japan? I am in Nagoya and have been to three dealers with no luck. I am going to try Tokyo next weekend but not sure if I will have any luck. It would be awesome to find it at msrp vs the inflated price they are currently selling at. If you have a suggestion on places to check in Nagoya or Tokyo let me know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I happened to put my UV light on my Serti GMT last night and noticed that the diamonds at 4 and 5 were fluorescent and the other 6 diamonds were not. From other google searches I have found that although Rolex may use flawless gems in their watches they appear to not believe florescence is a flaw. Any one else notice fluorescent diamonds on your Rolex ?? Lots of opinions on whether or not diamond fluorescence is a flaw or not. In natural light the diamonds look fine.
