I'll admit it. I love watches and I love cars. To me, they both represent a higher state of where design and machinery intersect. And being in the watch business for all of my life (I¡¯m a 4th generation watchmaker, and founder of TimeZonewatches-dealer), I always seem to find a correlation between people who own fine luxury cars, and those who own fine luxury watches. Olivier Watches is a brand new dive watch company based out of Redondo Beach, CA. The Olivier Bronze Diver 500m is the company¡¯s first release and is available in limited numbers with the Miyota 8215 or the ETA 2824-2 movement as well as four different dial options (black, blue, and brown with a triple-date window or a black with no date window). 42mm bracelet
I've seen several variations of the deployant on the 42mm bracelet. Can someone post a photo of the current version? Is it the one with the two balls on each side of the deployant? I've also seen one with just one ball on one side? Also, does the bracelet have micro adjustment or half links? From the photos I've seen it looks like it has neither?

In anticipation of a life milestone and consolidating significantly my collection I ordered what I estimate is the highest quality and most complicated watch I could possibly wear. And because my Patek AD simply amazing I am able to share this truly phenomenal work of craftmanship early. I love the watch, my AD and my Patek experience so I will attempt to temper the gushing with my observations. General: Wearing it it feels very diffrent from other Patek watches as it is wide, tall and the platinum makes it heavy but also rather familiar as the design of the case and dial are much like other current offerings. It almost feels like a sports watch from my youth, you know your wearing a watch. Dial:The dial is a softer sunburst grey dial than 5396G that I held awhile back. It seems like a matte grey with a shimmer - that's the best I can describe it. I would elaborate but the question is the topic. If there's a price difference, it is the white gold I am curious to know.I'm sure to be shocked, but tell me anyway! I saw one on the 'bay for a grand, but think a new one from an AD can't be TOO much higher. Right? (he asks nervously...)
