Seiko SNDD89 wrist watches news:
One of my favorite mechanicals even though it is gold-filled. Has the great 770 movement. Nice dressy watch. Hope you enjoy the photos.
I've been wearing this Christmas gift to myself for two days now and I'm quite pleased with it. I've not been fond of dress watches this size, but this watch is so nice and such a bargain that it's winning me over. Just looking at it, it's easy for me to forget that it's not a "luxury" watch. It certainly has a nice feel to it and it's precision seems to be within COSC at this time. We'll know better in a few more days.
Went skiing today with wifey and my new ski boots. I wondered what watch I should wear and decided on the G-shock. Here are some action shots:An orange rim around the mountain tops....A great restaurant half way up. Good food! I especially like the chili and burgers. The G exposed with Mt. Rainier in the background. It's all very pretty, but a few hours in these mountains without a compass would mean death. I have a motorcycle, and I am always amazed at how completely turned around and LOST you are in the Cascades!!!!!!Sunset in the mountains. We got some nice sunny vistas as the sun came out and set down in the South/West.
I know you what you are all thinking....2 new watches coming in on consecutive days. Yup, and I must admit its a first for me since I usually like to spread my purchases around but I just happened to catch a few good deals (IMO) I just couldn't pass up. I also did something I rarely do - did a little horse trading by swapping a seldom worn Panerai for this Rolex Yacht-Master. I normally take my time before making a purchase then keep the watch for a good long time, but I never could get comfortable with the size of the Panerai on my wrist and have always admired the Platinum bezel on the Yachty so when the deal presented itself, well the rest as they say is history. Anyway, since we all like pictures here you go and thanks for listening to my story.Drew
This kinda strange feeling when you walk in the AD with a 15300 but walk out without it. I had to leave her at the AD in order for apsc to proceed with the B1 test and then give it another year of warranty.Lucky enough I left home with my trusty sub in the Oakley vault so when I removed the 15300 and handed it over to my usual sales rep, the sub was there and ready. Now the hardest part, the waiting.
