how do I know which Airman Base 22 has 24hr movement?
I'm looking to pick up a Base 22, but from what I read there is a 12hr GMT (preferable) version and a 24hr 'purist' version (not a deal-breaker). Is each of the four options (3887.11/GA-LB7 - 3887.19-LB9 - 3887.11/66-LB9 - 3887.18/66-1) available in one of the two movements? Or are they four separate movement versions? As far as I can tell, 3887.11/66-LB9 and 3887.18/66-1 are missing the GMT hand - are these the purist versions? I'm most interested in the 3887.19-LB9 black dial version. Thanks!

First AP and its DOA
I recently decided i wanted to add another watch to my collection. I was considering a Rolex Yachtmaster II but have always admired the unique look of the AP Royal Oak Offshore collection. I shopped around and was originally considering an AP ROO Diver (silver), then an AP ROO Diver (blue). In the end i decided to splurge and get the one i really want.. the AP ROO Chrono Navy. The watch arrived this morning 10/26/17 shipped direct from a local AD.

Hi all, as you know I would like as my 3rd Patek, in 10-12 months from now, to buy a 5167R, but I am starting to wonder if I shouldn't either just get a SS, almost half the price, they abuse a little on this model IMO, paying 2 times more because there's a little bit of gold is a little too much IMO, even if I would probably be getting one when we will come back to France for vacation and since we will be living in Thailand we should have 16.9% tax refund, since the retail in euros is around 31K, with the tax refund it should be around 26K which is already more acceptable than 31K, but still¡­On pics I find the SS nice but no where near the 5167R which I find really special, but since it's almost impossible to see a 5167SS in real, by the way if ever you own one and come to Paris would love to buy you a drink and to see the watch in real life.I'm afraid that if I get the SS I would be compromising and would get bored of it, flip it loosing money and getting in the end the 5167R.Either o

How would you improve the model 114300
What would make this ref 114300 a better watch ? For me a 41mm case and the removal of the colour dots . I realy would like a straight forward watch without any trimmings and this is so close .
