Seiko Smy121 wrist watches news:
A guy at work bought this from a friend so he brought it in to show me. I don't really know enough about Rolex models to give him any detail about what he's got. I can't really find this exact model online. Any help would be...well, helpful.
Hello,Im a real amature on watches, just bought a used 2254 Seamaster chronometer after selling my lovely Submariner. Wanted a bigger watch this time and i just love the Omega. When i picked it up att the sellers house i just looked it over on the outside, all papers are ok and so on. I trusted the seller so i did not check the time accuracy. Big misstake**** me, i always trust people....My watch is to fast.. bigtime.. about 4 sec every minute...Do you think it is magnetized? If so is it expensive to fix this? The seller was not a shop but i have the warrenty fron Throggs NeckJewelers i USA. Dont know when this watch was sold new, can you tell by looking at this warrentycard? Why do they sometime not fill in the date on the warrentycard?Best regardsJohn
I was in Macy's today and noticed some new Seiko watches in the counter. They looked like standard quartz battery powered lower tier Seikos but said "Solar" just above the 6:00 position. They were small and only 3 Atm. WR. Some were goldtone, steel and goldtone, stainless; there were metal braclets and leather bands. Prices started at $165.00 for the stainless/leather band and $265.00 for the all goldtone model. They were rather unremarkable-probably using cases from standard quartz models. Does anyone know about thesewill there be more up market models?
Can someone tell me why some men wear beads on their watch wrist? It's bad enough, the wear and tear our watches get on a daily basis! Do you really need another hard object getting bashed into the case and crown of the watch?I guess the logical answer would be, that it's some sort of fashion statement!
Fed up with what to me was a delicate scratch magnet I sold my 26320 10 months ago and consolidated my collection with 4 rolex. My wife is a big AP fan and I have always wanted a novelty however circumstances never allowed. I received a good trade offer a few weeks back and waited patiently whilst this went through the premature B1 water resistance test and got a BNIB GP strap fitted but today another grail hit my collection and I wanted to share with any potential buyers wondering how a 44mm watch fits on a 7 3/4 wrist.I'll be doing a short write up on my grails on the Rolex forum in the next few weeks but here is in my opinion the perfect AP ROO
