Fun At The AD...
So I head downtown to my local AD to pick up my Oris. They were swapping the band for me, and a pin broke. They had to order one from Oris, yadayadayada. It was no big deal to me; not like I had to go without a watch. They call me on Friday and told me it would be ready today. Cool. They put the rubber strap back on, and polished the case, even removing some of the nicks that the last three years has inflicted.So I ask my buddy if he wants to take a ride down with me. He likes watches, but his fanciest watch thus far has been one of those vintage pocket watches that had been converted to a wristwatch; either that or his quartz Hamilton Khaki that he bought about a month ago.So I��m waiting for the girl to bring my Oris up, and my buddy is perusing the display cases, and something catches his eye.
