Seiko SKA707 wrist watches news:
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. My dad had recently passed down a Calatrava reference 5000g to me for my 22nd birthday. I'm pretty sure it's legitimate, but I was wondering whether anyone could shed some light on some of my concerns about the watch. On various sites, such as chrono24, ebay and wherever else I can find pictures of the 5000 series, I notice a few things.1. The clasp is perfectly circular with a Patek Philippe Logo. (Mine has the Patek Philippe logo, but it doesn't look exactly the same)2. The micro rotor has the Patek Philippe logo stamped on it (Mine doesn't have the Patek Philippe logo stamped on it, it just has 22k)Mine is exactly like this one that I'm linking here: Patek Philippe CALATRAVA REF. 5000G ORO BIANCO for C$*21,822 for sale from a Trusted Seller on Chrono24If you look at the picture of the back of the watch, it doesn't have the stamp, and in the last picture, the clasp is not round but more of a rounded square-ish type of clasp.Whereas this 5000G has the mic
Savoy is a new company that creates timepieces. Their website and more information is searchable online, since posting a direct link to their website would violate WTF rules about linking to non-sponsor sites (when those websites sell directly to the public)...When my wife and I were on a cruise last year for our Anniversary, she bought me a Savoy watch (WM1.11B2R1.21.RB.TB). It is VERY nice watch. Very heavy, but I love it. The band has a cool latch. They also have these cool interchangeable side pieces. You can actually change the look of the watch without changing the band. Here are some pics:
Hello friends,I am looking to get a new watch, preferrably a Seiko with an automatic movement. I would like to not spend more than $300 and wouldn't want the watch too be too big (case diameter <43mm). I had an orange monster and it was a great watch, but it was just too big for me. It doesn't have to be a dive watch but I would prefer one because I like the look they have and their rotating bezels.I found a nice one on Amazon, I think it's a Samurai for $196. How is the build quality on this watch? An Orient Mako has also caught my eye, although a little big (46mm), and could be an option. The big problem for me is that I really would like to try on a watch before I purchase it but the stores around me that sell nice watches (Macy's, JC Penny's and Jeweler stores) do not carry that many dive watches if any at all.I suppose if you guys recommend me a watch and give it good reviews, I could purchase it without wearing it. I just have been working all summer and would like to reward my
