Seiko SKA470P1 wrist watches news:
There are skull watches and then there are skull watches like this. Looking like a Mexican "Day of the Dead special" (Dia de Los Muertos), this mechanical skull-shaped watch is full of personality and design talent. Right now it is a one-of-a-kind watch, but there are plans for production in the near future. The watch was designed by Fiona Kr¨¹ger while she was a design student at the ECAL school in Switzerland (University of art and design Lausanne). Apparently I need to credit both her and the school as she designed the watch while there."Memento Mori" isn't a name that hasn't been used before, but a design like this is cool and unique. The watch case is literally shaped like a skull. This one has been hand-engraved in solid sterling silver (also the crown). Not sure of the size, but it does not look too small or too large. Interesting touches include the traditional style blued-steel hands and aviator style crown. That combo looks inspired from Peter Speake Marin if you ask me.The di
I had the pleasure of visiting an Omega Boutique at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles before Christmas and I must say it was very nice. They had every watch I wanted to see immediately available as can be expected. The sales person would simply ask me to wait while he went to the vault to retrieve the required watches. I¡¯m not too sure the salesperson was thoroughly familiar with the brand, but nevertheless, it was a fun experience. I¡¯m only posting this because there don¡¯t seem to be too many of the boutiques up and running throughout the U.S. as of yet.

I have the new Aqua Terra Golf on the way to me - Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the improved models With Co-Axial and screwed bracelets? Being an avid Rolex collector I havent really been into Omega for a looong time, but Rolex pricing forces me to look for alternatives..... And for the price I'm having a difficult time finding a better alternative than the Aqua Terra. I'm really liking the subtle green details on the Golf version. Kinda makes it stick out out a bit, much like the 16610LV withich is one of my favorite Rolexes...Thanks guys/BawlaDK
