Seiko Seiko 43166 wrist watches news:
I saw the Men's Date is 34 mm; yet, some were disappoined Rolex did not introduce a 38 mm Datejust this year at Basel. Do some consider 34 mm to small for a gent's watch?
With the great photo expositions by Hannes in Dubai and JBH in Europe, the question arises as to how to travel safely with a second watch.I have always restricted myself to just one. It's on my wrist and I know where it is all the time so I am comfortable, but what to do with the second?Options:1) Keep it in the hotel safe deposit box2) Carry it with me everywhere in my pocket.3) Wear it on my other wrist, (not real practical)4) Hide it somewhere in the hotel room (again not real practical)5) Keep it in the rental car.6) Forget the whole idea an take an inexpensive look alike (Invicta Sub instead of the real thing)I would be very interested in forum members thoughts and ideas as I will be traveling to Europe this fall and would like to perhaps take a stainless steel as well as a gold watch. Thanks in advance everyone!John
I have a vintage movement Cal 687. I would like to know if that movement is the thin-o-matic type. I'm looking at getting a case made for the thin-o-matic. I was thinking it should fit, anyone here have experience with that movement or a thin-o-matic hamilton
I see this line in my big 'Wristwatch Annual '09'. It is made by Rodolphe. The model is the Paninaro 44 Automatic Chrono Large Date. This photo doesn't do it any justice at all. I can't find a better image on line, but it looks super cool. Talk about a signature watch. Says it runs at 28,800 vph, 49 jewels and a reworked ETA 2892. Sapphire front and back and 5 atm. About the same as a basic Rolex as far as money - $6,600.Anyone ever see this before or know anything about the company?
I'm newly entering the world Omega and I'm trying to choose my model Pro Speedmaster. I see there are automatic and manual. Wich one is the most convenient and accurate? I guess the manual is cheaper and do not have a big budget. I would like to metal bracelet but also you can exchange one of brown leather. What if I would like for sure is a watch have the best resale value that when you want to change for another Omega I don't have to lose a big quantity of money. Thanks guys.
