Seiko SSC257 wrist watches news:
Linde Werdelin has announced two new limited edition models for their SpidoLite II series of luxury sport watches. The new LW SpidoLite II Tech features two variations of a watch that takes the recognizable SpidoLite II platform and moves it into the next generation as far as case construction and materials are concerned. The SpidoLite II Tech boasts case composition which employs both forged carbon and Linde Werdelin's own ALW, a proprietary metal alloy that is the result of two years worth of research and development. The Tech series shares the same 44 x 15mm case proportions as the rest of the SpidoLite II family and shares a similar look with a two-piece skeletonised dial, sub seconds at nine, and a date display at three. If you should choose one of this , which one is yours , and why ?RegardsAndy
Hey guys !This is a shot in the dark but I thought that I'd give it a try just in case.I bought a swivel lug 1916 Elgin Trench Watch on "the bay" 15 days ago and when I opened the package today there was an Illinois wrist watch instead. If this mix-up just happens to be with another forum member I suggest that we just swap among ourselves and NOT deal with this seller. This guy has issues ! ! ! Listing ended on September 28th, in the morning.Listing states that we ship out within 3 days: He did not ship out for 13 DAYS ! ! !On October 5th sent him a note asking where my watch was: I'll send it out when you pay for it.On October 5th sent proof to him that I paid 10 minutes after the listing ended, 7 days ago: No response from him at all.He marked the item as shipped on October, 7th (2 days later): Item was NOT actually mailed until October, 11th (4 days later).Did I get what I paid for? : NO, he shipped the wrong watch ! ! ! !In over 500 transactions on ebay I HAVE NEVER heard of a mistak
Greetings all. After frolicking in the snow yesterday, I awoke noticing water trapped behind the crystal on my Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic. There appears to be no water in the timing mechanism - yet. It's my belief that the seal around the crystal was somehow damaged. I've hung the watch so the crystal faces down to prevent water from traveling into the timing mechanism. Does anyone have any suggestions about fixing this? I have yet to talk to an authorized Hamilton repairer - but as I purchased the watch at an online retailer, it's my belief that it has no official repair warranty. I've provided some pictures to show the extent of the damage. My apologies on the poor quality.I'd be exceedingly grateful for any advise.Peace.Davidi48.tinypic/2zo9dfa.jpg
I will make better pics within a few days ...too dark right now so this is a bad pictureBut give me 2 or 3 days ... when I have some time I can tell you they are damn nice irl. Much better than the pics we all saw
