A Certina club 2000 watch from the early 70's has become available locally. I can't really find out much info on it at all. Are Certina considered a decent watch ? The prices on the bay have no real consistancy for the brand at all. I am not really committed to the watch but it would do no harm to get info on their watches either way.Thanks

I've had a person trying to help me move these items but she hasn't had much success. A couple of tire kickers, that's itso I figured I'd come here for some help. (I did a Google search and found this forum.)Dad passed away in 2014. Of the things he left me, I have his watch-repair tools. He got out of the Marines in the mid '50s and went to a technical school affiliated with Bradley University in Peoria, IL, to learn watch repair. He did this as a "second job" while he did his regular job for about three decades, until retirement.I don't know what I have. I have a bunch of tools. I remember him using them all my life, since I was a little kid. I don't want to just give them away; he'd kick my tail up one side and down the other if I did. I know what he had must be worth something because they're "serious" tools. So my wife and i were shopping yesterday and she apparently secured herself a nice bag, Birkin. In her happiness, we walked into the AP store. I tried on 3 Royal oaks 2 of them were 15400, and one was a 24xxx with complications. I liked the silver dial 15400. This in not the ultra thin one. She had said I could buy the aP RO 15400 or wait for the daytona c and pepsiQ for you guys...1) would you guys buy the RO2) any views on it holding value?3) do you own and why have you chosen AP.I was also at some point hoping for a nautilus 5711
