Tag Heuer WAR5011BA0723 wrist watches news:
I've purchased several vintage Swiss watches over the years, but have recently become interested in early American watches. This week, I picked up a couple of Waltham and Elgin watches from the '30s. I don't know a lot about these pieces but I really liked the look so I decided to make the jump into American watches (and these were relatively inexpensive entries). I'll post some additional photos of the movements once the watches arrive. I do know they are 7 jewel movements, both of which have recently been serviced. The dials look to be original and in decent shape as well. I would love to get some initial thoughts from those of you who are well versed with Waltham and Elgin. Mostly, I'd like to know if they are actually from the '30s, thoughts on their condition, if they are particular models and any other thoughts that come to mind. Much appreciated.$(KGrHqV,!rUFJ!LBWuIdBSWd1+Jyrg~~60_57-1.jpg$T2eC16V,!yMFI,7cM6I)BSWd2HI-Bg~~60_57.jpg$T2eC16N,!zcFIc8J-V3hBSWd2PVU+Q~~60_57.jpg$(KGrH
Apparently it is online registration only now in Hong Kong, no waterproofing check required before the end of 2nd year, and third year warranty sticker no longer exists. Is this the same in other countries?
Hey TRFJust wondering if anyone owned the Omega 41mm Vancouver watch? I just bought one to add to my Omega collection and wanted to hear from others on what they think about this watch. I love the red and white combo with the ice blue lumes. I also own a Seamaster Professional circa 2002. It is the most comfortable watch band I own. I wish Rolex made a band as comfortable and heavy duty as the Omega. I know the jubilee is like it, but not quit the same. I my opinion.Thoughts! Comments reviews? Appreciated.Aloha from Kauai.Tom
when we poked our heads in this afternoon, my man there said he had something special for Madam. A minute later he reappeared with this............Here's the PAM 684 on a black 'gator as modelled by Mrs Van D
I was at AD today as I'm visiting Europe and the store manager (who sold me a SD4000 2 yrs ago) told me to hold on to that old model because he said Rolex is switching to glossy dial on it?! He didn't have one in stock to inspect.Anyone heard or seen anything about this?
