- I love this style of Movado and had previously purchased one at a high end discount store. This saved me the time and hassle of looking for another in the store. I get a lot of compliments on it and I know I got a fabulous price.

Seiko SND419 wrist watches news:
I have read in several posts about people who have swaped bezels from orange to black or vice versa...it was mentioned by Scott D in "to orange or not to orange" thread where he showed that he swapped the bezel from orange to black for teh winter months. That seems like a great way to get some more versitility from the beautiful watch. I just received my very own orange/orange PO, and was wonder if you can do the the bezel swap yourself, or do you take to to you AD, or just a competent watchsmith? If you do it yourself, what tools did you use? I have done some extensive searching about this topic, and not a lot of info for the PO has been found. I did find a tool made for bezel removal from Otto F. but read several posts that it doesnt work very well for the PO. could you share your experiences on this process? Thanks in advance,Nick.
I recently acquired a WGF Gladstone and it appears to be in excellent condition. However, upon close inspection, the lugs (which as you know are part of the middle of the 3-piece case) have a yellowish appearance, but it doesn't look like brassing. I saw another Gladstone on ebay which Mark (oldlyme) was selling and it has the same appearance. I didn't think that the Gladstone had a two-tone case, but the other one even appeared to be YGF on the engraved part of the case. Mine only has the YGF look on the lugs.Image: EbayCan anyone with more knowledge than I possess shed some light on this?Dan
The clasp of the ROC does not conform well to my wrist due to the single fold clasp. Because of my small wrist, the clasp is is not centered and juts out a bit.It also leaves a mark on my wrist and not comfortable. In the same situation, would you trade or sell the ROC for a 15450?
Anyone received a new post 1 August list yet? My AD has decided to be difficult and not give me one!!
I recently got a pre-owned day-date (thanks to freefly and others for authenticating it) and based on my research in this forum, I decided to send it to Philip Ridley for service. My intent was to make sure watch has all the authentic parts and if there is any internal issue, I get to know about it. So far, everything went well and I'm expecting to receive my watch soon.Since, I'm new in Rolex world, I wonder what to look for when I receive it. I understand, I should check:1) Overall cosmetic condition2) Tally time- I'm planning to sync watch and my iphone and then check both of their times after 24 hours. Is there any better way to do this? Also, what else I need to look for when I receive it back? Thanks for your help.
