Seiko SNE042 wrist watches news:
Let's get the basic facts out first:1. Been posting here two years and four months.2. In that time have accumulated +100 vintage Hamiltons.3. Have inevitably had to endure poor internet because of where I work.3. However, have managed to record every new arrival at my PhotoBucket account - despite the less than pedestrian speed of the link.4. Have recorded each purchase in an electronic text (".txt") document. And now the problem I've faced for the entire time. Refer point 3 above. Sometimes (like tonight) my connection is so bad PhotoBucket won't open before the server times out so I can't access my account if I want to post an image. It just dawned on me. Why would I not simply copy the image code from Photobucket into my .txt record for each watch?????????? So, whenever I wanted to add a pic to a post all I'd have to do is copy the html tag from my records.Over the past two years this would have saved me hours and permitted me to post more pics to illustrate a point - or contr
Hi All,This is the 2008 version of the Superocean on the ocean racer strap. It has the new dial layout.:)Hope you like it.Joel
THanks guys ! .....you did it again .....we were discussing how to polish cases last week, and people kept mentioning those polishing clothes ( cloths?) anyway, on the bay, you could pay total of about 5 bucks for 2 ....or you could get 12 clothes, i dry buffing cloth, a pair of gloves, and a spiffy tin to put everything in ....for 13.50, and shipping is free.....Guess which I did ? ...arrived yesterday and zowie, makes a big ole shine on those watches ......both of the old Hammys were not shining up to a nice gold shine the way I know they should .....a few minutes with that cloth ....now they're all purdy ! ...........gathering knowledge around here....I wonder if my brain will burst ?
PLEASE ADD YOUR INSANE CLONES TO THIS THREAD!TechnoMarine Maoriand the melted Croton
I was offered a D Blue recently and declined seeing as my wrists are small.anything over 40mm I¡¯ve never really taken any notice of and I never knew much about the history of this watch. The AD salesman was telling me that he expected them to be out of production soon and it would be a great investment, since I¡¯ve walked away I¡¯ve been wondering if a made a big mistake. Are these watches still a ¡®Hot watch ¡® or was it just the usual salesman pitch ?
