TAG Heuer WAN2110.BA0822 wrist watches news:
Editor’s Note: In regard to Tony's thoughts on the Apple Watch, it should be noted that this episode was filmed two weeks before the actual launch of the product. 1 OF 27 The name Tony Fadell doesn't ring as loud as some others when discussing kings of Silicon Valley – Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg – but to those who know, Tony Fadell is already an icon of engineering, entrepreneurship, and product design. It was Fadell who, in the 1990s, worked diligently to build the concept of hand-held computing devices while working for General Magic. His software would power Sony's early Magic Link device, and he played a large role in Philips Electronics' Palm Pilot competitors. But by the late '90s, he was sure he wanted to go out on his own, founding Fuse Systems and pitching the idea of a portable music player to a handful technology companies (and even a watch company!), all unsuccessfully. In 2001, he abandoned the idea of a star
Spoke to our fave AD and his wife this afternoon. I waited till now to beat the Omega price increase and was successful, but in the process, learned that the increase is now scheduled for January 15th, but the practical timing to beat the increase is NOW!Was told that the old prices will apply to the stock on hand, because even if they place orders before 1/15, that they will sit on them and ship the products after the 15th and charge the new prices to the AD. Sure wasn't the way business used to be done, but they said that most all are doing it that way, nowadays. As many of my elderly ham radio cronies are fond of saying..."it's not my world anymore"!
I can't decide which Seiko Monster to get. If I get the 311 or 307 I won't have to buy the stainless Monster bracelet, but I am not sold on the all black bracelet and I'd like a little color, either red or orange, but not the full orange. I do like how the chapter ring on the 307 leans toward gray more than black, however. Currently, I'm leaning toward the 313 and a stainless bracelet. What do you think? I expect an answer from every single forum member, then I'll probably disregard them all and go with whichever I pick on a whim. What WOULD help immensely is if someone had photos of the 313 and 315 that they've put on a Monster stainless bracelet, or even maybe an aftermarket strap of some kind.Any input will be appreciated!
It seems to me that the Aquanaut 5167 1A is the closest Patek to a Rolex because:*It has a 40mm case*It is water rated to 120 meters*It isn't a grand complication*It has a ss or tropic rubber strap option*It has a screw in locking crown*It has a 28,800 bph movement*It has crown guards;*It has an instant date change at midnight;*It has a centrally located auto winding rotor. So should one just consider it as a Rolex alternative to say a Submariner?
TRF...I bought a 3 watch set that includes a TTSub Blue, SD43, and YM2 SS...I’m really digging my SD43 as my daily wearer and surprisingly get tons of compliments on it.I really want a PM Rolex but I will not shell out more cash until I can buy one cash with ease. The Sky Dweller Gold on Gold is speaking to me. I love it’s many functions. Since the other two aren’t getting as much wrist time I’m thinking of selling them and getting the 18K Skydwelled...So I’d have my daily wearer in the SD43 and my big timer semi-daily/special event PM watch in the other.Thoughts?
